A green beginning: welcome to 2024 with KS Service Center!
At KS Service Center, reliability, durability, and flexibility are at the core of our slit strip and sheet metal services. I am proud to share that we have signed a new contract with ArcelorMittal, allowing us to continue to offer high-quality products at short lead times. Want to know how you can benefit from this? Then contact our account managers Peter and Gregory.
A new year has arrived, and on behalf of the entire KS Service Center team, I wish you abundant joy and prosperity in addition to good health.
As Managing Director of KS Service Center, I feel the energy bubbling and am determined to make 2024 a year of significance. We are ready and excited to work with our valued partners to make it another year of success and growth.
At KS Service Center, reliability, durability, and flexibility are at the core of our slit strip and sheet metal services. But there is more than just business success. We are continuing our sustainable journey again in 2024. On our agenda is the full mapping of our carbon footprint, a logical follow-up to our ISO 14001 certification. The resulting insights will enable us to provide you with detailed information on the CO2 emissions of our steel processing and services. This information not only contributes to awareness, it is also increasingly requested or even demanded by purchasing parties in the supply chain.
All of the industry is working on this, and it can be complex. We will keep you informed about the steps we are taking in this, and according to what methods. Our ideal is to make CO2 emissions transparent throughout the supply chain. I therefore cordially invite you to think and act with us. After all, together we can discover more.
It will not surprise you that one of my good intentions for 2024 is to sell more sustainably produced coils of steel. I see that the market is going to demand more and more, but more importantly, it is badly needed to make our industry more sustainable! At KS Service Center, we aim for reductions in sustainably produced coil galvanized steel to less than 0.6 tons of CO2 emissions per ton! With chain collaboration, we can make an impact, working toward a green future.... Creating a more sustainable world that we can pass on more sustainably to our children starts with ourselves. Every green initiative helps, no matter how small it may sometimes seem.
Do you have questions, ideas, want to join this green movement? Feel free to send me a message, and let's explore the possibilities together.
Here's to a green and successful 2024!
With sustainable greetings,
Corné Rottier
Managing Director, KS Service Center
