SUSTAINABILITY IN ACTION AT KS SERVICE CENTER: ISO 14001 CERTIFICATION AND FUTURE PLANS

Within the walls of KS Service Center, we also have reason to rejoice. We have reached an important milestone: ISO 14001 certification is a fact! Over the past year, we have made an effort to implement an environmental management system. This establishes our policies, objectives, and a clear path to continuous improvement of our environmental impact.

Commitment to continuous improvement

At KS Service Center, "continuous improvement" is at the heart of everything we do. Whether it's our processes, goals, or daily activities, we are always striving to get better. Our goal is to be not only a reliable and flexible partner and supplier, but also a pioneer in sustainably produced strip steel and sheets.

A concrete example of our commitment to sustainability is our project to make the hydraulic units on the slitting machine and packing line demand controlled with frequency switches. This investment is expected to result in significant savings of 1,400 kWh of electricity per week! We are currently working on a thorough 0 measurement of our carbon footprint, about which we will share more details soon.

At KS Service Center, we see sustainability not as a goal, but as a journey. A journey in which we are constantly pushing boundaries and coming to new insights. We are determined to find innovative solutions that are both ecologically sound and economically viable. In this way, we not only contribute to a sustainable future, but also offer our customers a greener choice.
